Christmas Program Day for Sophie!

Sophie has her very first Christmas program at her preschool today.  She is very excited about it and can't wait to sing with the rest of her classmates!  We'll have a whole tribe there watching her. 

Playing outside on Christmas?

This is a first.  We're on our way to a Christmas party and we're playing outside.  How does that happen? 

It gave us a chance to quick take a few Christmas picture outside.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jeff celebrated aging another year on December 7th.  The day before, my brother and sister-in-law came over for supper and cake.  The next day we celebrated with a real treat - a Dairy Queen cake complete with whitetail deer on it and Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Elf on the Shelf

Sophie is really having a lot of fun with the Christmas season this year.  Last night the "Elf on the Shelf" came to visit.  The elf is sent from Santa and keeps an eye on you and reports every night.  Each morning he hides in a different spot and will continue to keep watch and report until Christmas Eve.  He will then ride back to the North Pole with Santa.

Santa :: Like it or not

We were supposed to go visit Santa Claus next week, but Sophie was so bummed out, that I decided we would make the visit 2 weeks in a row!  She was so happy to see Santa...

But her brother only liked watching Santa from far away...

Sophie :: Revisit

I'm revisiting a few photos from the year.  I'm so happy I have these 3 yr old pictures of Sophie.  The year is going by so quickly - and soon she'll celebrate another birthday year.  I'll try to remember that today is the only day she'll be this size - and to enjoy every second of it.
